Avocado Lime Smoothie
Ingredients
  • 1 cup young spinach leaves
  • ½ cup sliced cucumber
  • ½ avocado fruit
  • 3 whole limes
  • Sweetener (honey, agave or
    stevia) to taste
  • 6 pieces of ice cubes

A 2013 study published in the Nutrition Journal found that people eating avocado with a meal felt 23% more satisfied. And they had a 28% lower desire to eat in the next five hours versus people who didn’t eat an avocado.

Avocado Lime Smoothie

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Wash all ingredients thoroughly.

Step 2

Pluck out the leaves of the spinach. Discard stems.

Step 3

Without peeling, cut the cucumber into half-inch slices.

Step 4

Remove the seed of the avocado. Using a spoon, scoop out the flesh from the peeling.

Step 5

In a blender place cucumber, avocado, spinach, and lime. Add ice cubes and the desired amount of sweetener and blend.

Step 6

Pour into a glass and drink immediately.
