About this Recipe
One of my favorite smoothies. I’ve made it for my friends and they all loved it. Perfect when you want something sweet.
- ½ cup kale leaves
- 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- ½ cup Swiss chard
- 1 cup sliced ripe bananas
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cacao
- sweetener (honey, agave or
stevia) to taste
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut water
The main reason for having kale in your diet is that kale is very low in calories but has excellent health benefits. This means kale can be digested effortlessly. They are also full of good nutritious value that improves your body’s immunity to harmful diseases. One cup of kale is only 7.35 calories.

Step by Step Instructions
Rinse and prepare greens and fruits.
Peel bananas and cut into 1-inch slices.
Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
